Customizing "Tools Notifications" functionality

For the component "Tools Notifications" the following elements are customizable:

Get Notifications - specifying from what tools the notifications are shown:

• From XTools Pro tools - enables notifications about the completed processes of XTools Pro tools.

• From all geoprocessing tools - enables notifications about the completed processes of any geoprocessing tools.

Sound - specifying the sound played with notifications:

• Play sound - allows notifications to play sound.

• Sound for succeeded processes - specifies the path to the sound file that indicates a succeeded process.

• Sound for failed processes - specifies the path to the sound file that indicates a failed process.

Changes are applied upon closing the Options dialog.

Please note that ArcMap session must be re-started to see your own sound files in the drop-down list after copying them to C:\Windows\Media\XTools Pro.

Please make sure if the notifications in general are enabled, and sounds are allowed to be played in Windows settings:

Start > Settings  > System > Notifications & actions
