Input features
<in_features>

Input polygon features to be split.

Output feature class
<out_feature_class>

The new output polygon feature class that will store split polygons.

Split features
<split_layer>

Select a polygon or polyline layer at intersections with which input polygons will be split.

ID field
{id_field_name}

Specifies ID field in the output feature class in which IDs of the input features will be stored. Leave this field blank if you do not wish to keep input features IDs.

Buffer
<buffer_type>

Specify if you wish to use buffer when splitting polygons. Available options are:

• NO_BUFFER - no buffer will be applied

• FIELD - buffer values will be taken from field selected below

• CONSTANT - constant buffer value will be used

Select the field to take buffer values from.

{buffer_value}

Specify buffer value and select units.
