Input feature class to be split.

Split output
<out_type>

Input dataset can be split into:

• FEATURE_CLASSES - allows splitting input dataset into separate feature classes.

• FEATURE_LAYERS - allows splitting input dataset into feature layers with definition queries referencing input dataset.

Output storage
{output_storage}

Output folder or geodatabase that will store the split datasets.

Split by fields
<split_by_field>

Attribute field(s) by which input features will be split.

Template
{template}

Output datasets name template that will be applied to the output split datasets.

Append value as postfix
{append_value}

Select FIELD_VALUE to append field values as postfix. The option is only available if input layer is split by one field.

Select ORDER_NUMBER to add order numbers to the output datasets names.
