Customizing "Show Perimeter/Length" tool

For the component "Show Perimeter/Length" the following elements are customizable:

• Show perimeter of polygons
  - for multipart polygons allows to show perimeter for the whole feature or for each feature component separately.

• Show length of polylines
  - for multipart polylines allows to show length for the whole feature or for each feature part separately.

Units - specifying area units

• Area units
  - specifies fixed or adaptive units for values. Units can also be used from specified coordinate system (see the parameter below).

• Coordinate system
  - determines coordinate system used for displaying feature values. It can be from the selected layer, from an active map, or custom.

• Custom coordinate system
  - custom projected coordinate system can be selected in the catalog of coordinate systems, which is available by clicking the Edit button (green button with pencil).

View - representing the text symbol

• Font size
  - detemines the font size to display values.

• Font color
  - determines the text symbol color. It can be selected in a Color Editor window, which is available by clicking the Edit button (green button with pencil).

• Decimal places
  - specifies number of decimal places to display values.

Changes are applied upon using XTools Pro Show Perimeter/Length tool next time.
