Customizing "Data Source Manager" tool

For the component "Data Source Manager" the following elements are customizable:

Fix and Change Algorithm - specifying settings for the search algorithm:

• Search Start Folder
  - defines folder where searching for datasets will begin, this can be MXD document location, original data folder or both.

• Search Depth
  - specifies search depth in subfolders.

• Search in Sibling Folders
  - prescribes to search in sibling folders.

• Search in All Folder Connections
  - prescribes to search in all connected folders.

• Automatically check opened documents
  - prescribes to check map documents you open in ArcMap for broken links to data sources. At that, you can also select to automatically open Data Source Manager to fix broken links.

Changes are applied upon closing the Options dialog.
