Input features

Input polygon or polyline features whose geometry values will be added to the attribute table.

Parameters
<fields>

Select output geometry parameters to be calculated.

For polylines:

• LENGTH - length of the feature in selected units

For polygons:

• PERIMETER - perimeter of the feature in selected units

• AREA - area of the feature in selected units

• ACRES - area of the feature in acres (for projected coordinate system)

• HECTARES - area of the feature in hectares (for projected coordinate system)

Unknown spatial reference units
{unknown_sr_units}

Specify units for the unknown input spatial reference.

Output spatial reference
{spatial_ref}

Select required spatial reference.

Output units
{geo_units}

Select output units for the selected output spatial reference.

Measurement type
{measurement_type}

Select required measurement type, following options available:

• PLANAR - the shortest distance without Earth curvature.

• GEODESIC - the shortest distance with Earth curvature (geodesic line).

For projected and unknown coordinate system only PLANAR measuring type is available.
