An overview of the Import/Export Tools

The Import/Export Tools provides a series of tools that allows you to manage your data. Currently these tools include those that will allow you to export tables to other file formats and also to export and import KML files.

The following table lists the tools available in the Import/Export Tools and provides a brief description of each.

Tool	Description
Table to Text	Exports attribute or standalone table to a text file.
Table to Excel	Exports attribute or standalone table to Microsoft Excel file (.xlsx).
Table to Excel (Multiple)	Exports one or a few attribute or standalone tables to Microsoft Excel file (.xlsx).
Export to KML	Exports feature layers and their attributes from ArcGIS to KML/KMZ format for use with Google Earth, Google Maps and other applications and services supporting KML format.
Import from KML	Imports vector features with names and descriptions from KML/KMZ files to ArcGIS datasets.
